Do you reach for one favourite perfume every morning, or choose a different scent for each occasion? Your routine is a useful starting point when deciding between a 30ml, 50ml or 100ml bottle. The largest bottle is not automatically the right choice for everyone.
What does the bottle size tell you?
The number in millilitres (ml) tells you how much liquid the bottle contains. Keep the fragrance name and concentration in view too: a 50ml Eau de Toilette and a 50ml Eau de Parfum are different product choices, despite having the same volume. Our EDP and EDT guide explains what to compare.
30ml: a smaller commitment
A smaller bottle may suit someone who rotates between several fragrances or wants to buy less of a scent they have already tried. Check the bottle dimensions if carrying it in a handbag matters to you; liquid volume alone does not tell you how bulky the packaging is.
50ml: a practical middle option
Consider 50ml if you wear a fragrance regularly but also enjoy other scents. For example, you might choose one bottle for workdays and keep another fragrance for weekends. Decide how much you are comfortable spending today rather than choosing by size alone.
100ml: for a familiar favourite
A larger bottle can suit a scent you already know and wear often. Compare the current price per millilitre against other available sizes of the same fragrance and concentration. Divide the bottle price by its volume to make that comparison; a larger bottle is not always the better-value option.
For a gift, familiarity matters more than bottle size. If you do not know the recipient's preferred scent, read our fragrance gift guide before deciding.
Check the selected size before ordering
- Confirm the exact fragrance name and concentration.
- Select the size you want and check that it is available.
- Read the listing for packaging details, especially for testers and gift sets.
- Check the displayed price for that selected size.
A product title may mention several sizes even when only some are available. You can compare the options on our Calvin Klein CK IN2U Him Eau de Toilette and Calvin Klein Obsession Eau de Parfum listings. Check each size selector for current availability.
How long will a bottle last?
There is no single reliable answer from bottle size alone: how often you use it and how much you spray both affect how quickly it runs out. Choose around your own habits, and keep your bottle well cared for with our perfume storage guide.
